HERE is an idea... from a teacher in the Middle East
I teach in Qatar, which is in the Middle East, and have a fair number of Iraqi students who moved here 4-5 years ago because of the war. They, and numerous other students, are desperately seeking American opinions on this video, as it confirms everything they believe about the war. They are not extremists, nor do they hold extreme opinions, but they do think they should have the ability to "get back" at the soldiers who are responsible in whatever form is appropriate. They are angry at the US for more reasons than one, all of which are quite understandable, and they need people to listen. They think if we're willing to invade their country, and bomb it to bits based on one man's opinion, then we should be willing to listen to their voices.
If anyone is interested in putting students together as "pen pals" (Facebook friends?), I'm more than interested, and I think they would be as well.
